Found That HG Eye Cream?

After searching high and low, I think that I have! I've tried them all, from cheapie drugstore eye creams to ridiculously-priced department store concoctions, and at last I've found one that really delivers on each and every once of its promises and works wonders for my tired, over-worked eyes.

To celebrate, I'll be reviewing an eye cream a day (or at least I'll be attempting to) starting tomorrow until I go through all the ones that I have or have tried, culminating with the review of my fabulous new discovery. Eye cream is really so important in protecting the delicate skin around your eye-area, whether you're 20 or 80, and preventative measures are key! I hope you all enjoy this!

I am totally agreed with you. I am very careful about eye area. I enjoy in your writing. Thank for information.

It's an eye-cream charts! I love it ;x

looking forward to the reviews! I still haven't found my HG eye cream hence I'm not using any eye cream.

That's so exciting, I'm totally looking forward to it. Eye creams are so difficult to get right -- fine lines and expression lines abound while milia is a huge threat since most anti-wrinkle eye creams are so greasy. Can't wait for your reviews!

I am still in search for a HG eye cream for my horrible dark circles! Can't wait for you review... totally appreciate it!

Askmewhats I've been through soooo many eye creams before finding one that I genuinely love. Now that I have I just have to share!

Awww thank you Beauty Cosmetics! The eye area is definitely very sensitive/delicate so it's so important to find that product that works for you.

ooh! i can't wait! :D

Can't wait to read all of your eye cream reviews. I need a good eye cream. My eye area has been really dry lately, and nothing is helping.

Can't wait to read your reviews!

Ariel and Ying said on July 16, 2009 11:21 AM

Cannot wait. It's so hard to find the right eye cream for myself. I need one to help with puffness and dark circle.

*Jen* said on July 16, 2009 11:28 AM

Ana you'll be happy to hear that my HG eye cream isn't INSANELY expensive! it's not cheap but it's definitely affordable.

*Jen* said on July 16, 2009 11:28 AM

Connie I got lazy about it when I didn't love the one I was using, but this one works wonders and feels great on so I use it religiously!

*Jen* said on July 16, 2009 11:28 AM

i totally agree theotherworldly! i think eye creams are the hardest purchase to make because, since our eyes are so sensitive, they can be really problematic!

*Jen* said on July 16, 2009 11:29 AM

Tracy my favorite may be able to help fix those! I'm excited to review all these eye creams :)

*Jen* said on July 16, 2009 11:29 AM

Plue the first installment will be up tomorrow!

*Jen* said on July 16, 2009 11:30 AM

Deb I've been looking for that happy balance between hydrating without greasiness (and without causing milia), and of course something that actually makes a visible difference.

*Jen* said on July 16, 2009 11:47 AM

Hope you find them helpful and informative Gio!

*Jen* said on July 16, 2009 11:48 AM

Definitely Ariel and Ying! Most eye creams either irritate my eyes or don't seem to do much of anything at all.

lunatwinkle said on July 16, 2009 12:39 PM

Oooooh, I'm so excited! I'm always searching for eye creams! I'm using the Olay Total Effect Transforming Eye Cream. I think it works okay, but I've never tried anything else before. So I can't compare.

i'm getting wrinkles...i think...because i pull my eyes to do eyeliner! oh nos!!! ack! can't wait for ur reviews! <3 <3 <3!

Nazia said on July 16, 2009 2:06 PM

I can't wait for all your reviews cause I just started to use eye creams recently. I'm in my mid 20s too and I know I'll get wrinkles very soon cause I squint a lot when I'm on my laptop. I've been back n forth between olay and a few mario badescu eye creams but I really don't know what I should be looking for.

Anastasia said on July 16, 2009 2:07 PM

I'm looking forward to see if any really expensive creams were rubbish. Always feel justified at being a cheap skate when that kind of thing happens.

*Jen* said on July 16, 2009 2:12 PM

Me too Luna! I'm on a perpetual search for bigger and better things :)

*Jen* said on July 16, 2009 2:13 PM

thanks reveriepapillon! i try to avoid any tugging around my eye area as much as possible, although sometimes it's just unavoidable.

*Jen* said on July 16, 2009 2:19 PM

Nazia I'm trying to figure out where to begin. I think I'll just go in random order leading up to my favorite one. I squint a lot because my contacts dry my eyes out like crazy!

*Jen* said on July 16, 2009 2:27 PM

LOL Ana you'll be pleased to learn that there are cheap and expensive eye creams that are equally mediocre!

TLNHTRN said on July 16, 2009 3:09 PM

Yay! I can't wait! I love following your mascara reviews :D Just like mascara, I'm limited on eye creams too lol

*Jen* said on July 16, 2009 3:21 PM

TLNHTRN I guess I just obsess about everything -- mascaras, lipglosses, eye creams, etc. I have issues =X

*Andrea* said on July 16, 2009 5:30 PM

Hi! I forgot how I stumbled across your blog, but I've been checking it almost daily ever since! I love all your reviews and had bought so many things based on them. Can't wait for the eye cream series. I know you said you will write them and lead up to your favorite, but would you mind just giving us a sneak peak at the HG? I need a good eye cream since like yesterday! lol I'll have my wallet ready to purchase as soon as you reveal your HG!

*Jen* said on July 16, 2009 5:36 PM

Andrea I'm so happy that you've found me and that you've continued to come back! <3 Thanks for being a loyal ABS reader!

Hmmmm...maybe I'll give hints on the HG eye cream with each review so that people can guess LOL! Although if you'd really like to know now please feel free to e-mail you and I'd be happy to do a mini-review of it for you so that you can decide if it's worth purchasing or not without having to wait. Shhhh don't tell anybody though! ;)

T.R. said on July 16, 2009 5:57 PM

I can't wait. I too have been searching for the HG of eyecreams. I'm seeing the fine wrinkles under my eye. Which don't worry me too much except they look horrid (at least to me) if I'm tired etc. Dang Jen do we have to wait til the end. *pout w/ arms crossed*

*Jen* said on July 16, 2009 6:03 PM

awww T.R.! if you just have to know feel free to shoot me an e-mail and i'll reveal my little secret to you! i personally love it and i'm hoping other people will too, although as always, i worry when i suggest things b/c i'm afraid people may not like them.

Marina said on July 16, 2009 8:43 PM

Hiya, I still havent found my HG eyecream after trying what feels like a million and spending SO much money!

I have jusr received Peter Thomas Roth eye overhaul duo from skinstore.com and used it for the first time tonight..... I am not impressed with the packaging thou :( Its split AM/PM but some of the AM cream has leaked into the PM side *sighs* very dissapointed!

Cant wait to see all your reviews :)

Marina xo

T.R. said on July 16, 2009 10:27 PM

:O) Jen you're too good to me. Okay I won't be a party pooper. I'll wait. Heck I might already have it on my wish list. :O)

Suki said on July 17, 2009 3:24 AM

it'll be good to know yours! i've used only a few, and i can say my favourite is Dior Capture R60/80 First Wrinkles Smoothing Eye Cream, and worst is Ponds regener-activ eye cream.

*Jen* said on July 17, 2009 3:35 PM

Marina believe me I've been through a ton too! I'd reached the point where I figured I'd never find an eye cream I loved.

I've been curious about that PTR duo. So I take it you wouldn't recommend it?

*Jen* said on July 17, 2009 3:37 PM

T.R. I'll give you a hint! Sephora carries it but it's currently out of stock on their site :)

*Jen* said on July 17, 2009 3:37 PM

Suki I don't believe I've tried either of those but it's always fun to hear other people's thoughts on products! :)

k_an said on July 17, 2009 3:50 PM
